Personal Office Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data the app uses, where it is stored, and when it may leave your device.
Updated: July 12, 2026
1. Scope and contact
This policy applies to the Personal Office mobile app for iOS and Android. The developer is the person or organization identified as the app developer or seller in the applicable store. Privacy and support contact:
2. Data processed on the device
Depending on the features you use, the app may store profile details and an image, tasks, calendar events, notes, contacts entered manually, document records and attached files, app settings, local activity history, and a local PIN verification value. These data are used only to provide app features.
3. No developer collection
The app has no account system, advertising, behavioral analytics, tracking, server synchronization, or developer-operated cloud storage. The developer cannot remotely access, restore, or delete your app content. Data are not sold or provided to advertising networks or data brokers.
4. Local notifications
If you enable reminders, the app requests the operating system notification permission and schedules notifications on the device. Events are scheduled 15 minutes before they start; tasks and documents are scheduled for 09:00 on the selected date. Reminder content is not sent to the developer or a server.
5. Export, import, and sharing
A JSON backup is created only when you request an export. It may contain records, profile information, and settings, but not the PIN verification value or attached document files. Import replaces current records and settings, removes current attachments, restores document records without files, and leaves PIN protection disabled. Opening, sharing, calling, or emailing passes only the data you selected to the system feature or app you chose.
6. System backups
Personal Office does not provide cloud synchronization. Apple, Google, or the device operating system may include app data in a system backup according to your device settings. The developer does not create, control, or access those backups.
7. Support messages
The app does not send diagnostic data automatically. If you contact support, your email provider and Gmail process the address, message, and attachments you choose to send. They are used only to review and answer the request. Do not send a PIN, full backup, or confidential documents unless they are necessary.
8. Retention and deletion
Local data remain on the device until you change or delete them, clear app data, remove the app, or the operating system removes its storage. Use More → Settings → Clear all data to delete local records, settings, the PIN verification value, and files saved by the app. Exported or shared copies and system backups must be deleted separately where they are stored.
9. Security, children, and changes
The optional PIN limits access through the app interface but does not encrypt the entire device. Personal Office is not directed specifically to children and contains no social features, advertising, purchases, or subscriptions. This page will be updated before a release if the app’s data practices materially change.
